Fund Raising Activities

As a community service organization, the Rotary Club of Port Alberni raises funds in the community by several means.

 

Our main fundraiser is our Annual Boat Raffle which takes place on the Labour Day Weekend. Proceeds from this raffle are distributed throughout the community in the form of donations to deserving organizations, as bursaries for deserving students both in academic and vocational fields, or as funding for major projects undertaken by the club.

We currently have a major fundraising effort underway, one in which other Rotary Clubs can participate. With the kind permission of the artist Roy Henry Vickers, we have printed a special edition of his 'Tyee Moon' and are selling this wonderful art poster. It is available to other Rotary Clubs at a quantity discount. Please contact us for further information..
