The Rotary Foundation

The Rotary International Foundation is the arm of Rotary International through which most of RI's  Humanitarian activities are organised. Each year over 70 million dollars are distributed through the Foundation.

The biggest of the current projects is the PolioPlus campaign to eradicate polio from the planet by 2005, RI centenary year. RI has been a key player in this campaign for 15 years now and we are now in the final push to immunize the last 1% of the children aged 1-5 in the world. There are only 10 countries left, but they are going to be the most difficult.

On the right of this page you will find links about the work of the Foundation and the PolioPlus Campaign including weekly news items from the world's newspapers about current projects and activities.
