1994
River Boat Casino Cruise
In June 1994 we combined our
Installation Evening with a Cruise aboard the MV Frances Barkley.
The theme of the evening was Riverboat Gaming, and we hired a Dixieland
Jazz Band to provide live music aboard, while we tried our luck at
the dice and poker tables for Rotary 'funny money'. At the conclusion
of the five hour cruise we held an auction for all kinds of donated
items.
A very enjoyable evening for all, and we
even turned a small profit!

Lani
Lacombe seems to be counting the leftovers of her gaming experience
to see if she has anything left for the auction. |

tables. |
No
River Boat Gaming Cruise is complete without a proper Dixieland
Band.
Dr. Jazz and the Medicine Men
from Nanaimo entertained us for the evening. |
